A super holiday property, ideal for families, with plenty of facilities for the children and superbly located for touring the delights of Devon.
This property enjoys a quiet location on the outskirts of Berrynarbor and offers a brilliant base to explore the many delights of North Devon. Situated on a former working farm, dating back to the 18th Century and is set within three acres of meadows and gardens at the foot of the Sterridge Valley. In the village, which is only a short walk away, there is a shop and the local pub serving food. One of four holiday cottages, each having it’s own individual style and charm. Close to the North Devon coast at Watermouth Bay, near to Exmoor for wonderful walks and a very short drive to Combe Martin and Ilfracombe with its restaurants, beaches and children’s attractions.
The Plough is accessed via the front door leading directly into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with comfortable seating. a cosy wood burner effect electric fire and a TV so as you don't miss your favourite programmes. There is also a sofa bed which can be made upon request. A door leads from the lounge area on to the sun terrace, perfect for evening drinks or dining alfresco. The dining area has seating for four and the kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Stairs lead down from the lounge area to an inner hall with doors leading to the two bedrooms, one double and one twin. The bathroom completes this floor with shower over bath and WC.
Stepping outside on to the sun terrace, complete with garden furniture to sit out in the warm weather and enjoy the elevated countryside views. There is a shared utility room on site housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. For keeping the family entertained, there is a shared under cover games area with table tennis and darts, a range of outdoor games are available including croquet, children’s tennis/badminton and boules, and a large level cut paddock for ball games, picnics, BBQ's and exercising the dogs. There is a play area for younger children and two Shetland ponies called Robyn and Biscuit who live in part of the meadow.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
