The cottage is full of great features and has all the facilities you will need for a great trip away. The ground floor boasts a spacious lounge/diner with a stone Inglenook fireplace with wood burner; wood flooring, doors, and beams. There is gas central heating in the property, the thermostat can be found in the living area in the right hand alcove. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath and WC. The first floor, accessible via an open tread staircase which may not be suitable for guests with a mobility condition, houses two bedrooms: one restful king-size and a second bunk bedroom.
A generous starter pack is left by the owners to include half a large basket of logs, 2 full scuttles of coal and wood kindling. There is a local garage located at the top of the street where you can purchase more wood for the log burner should you require.
