Located in the heart of the beautiful village of Ayton, home of the magnificent Ayton castle. The village boasts great amenities including a well-stocked shop, pub with real ales, restaurant serving daily meals and a bowling club. The castles hosts yearly events and guided tours, or explore the castle’s estate with riverside walks all year round. Close to the historic fishing town of Eyemouth with its pretty harbour, leisure centre, golf course and museums. Enjoy fishing and sea safari wildlife boat trips, visit the pretty seaside village of St Abbs with dive centre and nature reserve, that was recently featured as a filming location for blockbuster movie, Avengers Endgame, or enjoy surfing at the nearby sandy Coldingham Bay.

Entering this wonderful period house from the pretty enclosed front garden into the hall, the perfect place to store your outdoor clothing. Firstly, you are met with the fantastic spacious open-plan kitchen/diner. The lovely bespoke kitchen area is the perfect place to cook up a storm with gas oven and hob, fridge, freezer, bread maker, microwave, a handy dishwasher and washing machine. There is a large breakfast bar with comfy stools, the ideal to place to relax with a morning coffee or to enjoy afternoon tea together. The lovely dining area, with feature stone fireplace with fan heater, great for those cooler evenings, is perfect to enjoy family and romantic meals together with lovely views over the front garden. Heading up to the first floor, to the rear of the property you are met with the fantastic spacious lounge. Relax on the comfortable sofas or the lovely electric reclining chair with massage program. Enjoy a great movie together on the TV/DVD with a selection of DVDs and in the evenings cosy up in front of the roaring wood burner. At the rear of the lounge is the fantastic games area with full size pool table and seating area with board games to enjoy. To the front of the lovely house you will find two beautifully decorated bedrooms, both with ample storage space and lovely views over the front garden. There is a spacious super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request), and a spacious twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request), with an additional single pull out bed. Finally completing the accommodation is the lovely stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Venturing outside to the enclosed front garden with seating area, this is an ideal space for al fresco dining and lazy evening stargazing, perhaps with a wee dram, good local ale or a nice glass of wine. There is roadside parking directly outside the property, subject to availability.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
