Description

A spacious seaside holiday property with generous bedrooms located in the heart of Seahouses village so you can walk everywhere. The perfect relaxing base for families and friends looking to explore the Northumberland coast.

Picturesque Seahouses is Northumberland’s best-known fishing harbour and is home to a wide range of friendly pubs, restaurants, takeaways and shops. Throughout the year, this bustling village welcomes visitors to enjoy the attractions both on land and at sea. A boat trip to the Farne Islands will introduce you to the local seal population and amazing birdlife, including puffins in certain months and, occasionally, a pod of dolphins. Coastal paths take you to Bamburgh’s iconic castle and glorious beach, and Beadnell Bay for water sports like kitesurfing. You could also enjoy a stroll towards Embleton Beach and Dunstanburgh Castle or a picnic in the dunes. Cross the causeway to visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne or head further north to Berwick-on-Tweed.

Entering this lovely property through an arched doorway, you will come into a vestibule with a lovely chair and a useful bench, where you can leave your coats and take off your shoes. A small step leads up into the beautifully presented open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with original, stone wall and fireplace features and exposed beams, all adding to the character of this seaside cottage. The comfortable seating invites you to sit and relax in front of the flame-effect wood burner after a busy day exploring, and you can catch up on your favourite shows with Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen provides everything you will need to make delicious meals, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer with an icemaker for making refreshing cold drinks, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. The farmhouse dining table will no doubt become the hub of your holiday home and the space been styled with beautiful pieces and warming lighting to ensure you have memorable meals together. The smart downstairs bedroom is located off the vestibule and has a king-size bed and open storage with hanging space and shelving for your things. There is a door from this bedroom that leads out to the rear of the property. A shallow step leads up to the beautifully tiled en-suite with shower and WC. There is also a separate WC off the vestibule. Heading up to the first floor, you will find the chic, master bedroom which comes with tasteful touches and calming decor, an inviting king-size bed and useful open storage. Take time to unwind and luxuriate away from it all in the freestanding bath and the en-suite shower room with shower and WC. There is another elegant king-size bedroom with a wardrobe and an easy chair, and the spacious twin bedroom has a built-in wardrobe. These two bedrooms share an attractive shower room with a shower and WC.

Outside, there is a small seating area to the rear in the shared courtyard with a patio table and chairs, and allocated parking for two cars.
