Eastbourne Beach is a popular resort beach situated on the south coast of England, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and traditional seaside attractions. .

Eastbourne Beach is a shingle beach with sandy stretches at mid to low tide, located between the chalk cliffs of Beachy Head and Eastbourne Pier. The beach is predominantly shingle, with shallow sandflats exposed at low water. Above the beach, there is a promenade, followed by the urban backdrop of Eastbourne.

The beach is backed by a promenade lined with grand Victorian hotels, and features a fine bandstand, a 1,000ft (300m) long pier, and the famous Floral Carpet Gardens. The pier, which was opened in 1870, has an impressive pavilion at the seaward end and has been fully repaired after suffering damage from storms, German bombs, and a fire in 2014. The seafront is also home to a series of vintage features, including wooden groynes that divide up the beach.

The beach is a popular destination with families, offering safe bathing zones and lifeguards on duty. Beach huts are available for rent on a seasonal or daily basis, and visitors can enjoy the views in traditional deckchairs that are available along the seafront. The main resort beach runs from the Pier to Wish Tower, half a mile to the south, and offers clean water for swimming.

Eastbourne's seaside heritage is evident in its grand Victorian hotels and vintage features, which serve to preserve this slice of classic British seaside. The beach and its attractions are popular with both visitors and residents alike, forming part of Eastbourne's resort heritage.
