Brighton Black Rock beach, situated just east of Brighton Palace Pier towards the marina, is a popular spot for both locals and naturists, offering a unique experience for visitors. .

Black Rock Beach, also known as Cliff Bathing Beach, is located near Brighton in East Sussex. The beach is easily accessible, being only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Brighton. The closest parking to the beach is Black Rock Car Park, which offers access down a short flight of steps. This is also the terminal of Volk’s Electric Railway.

The beach is composed of pebbles and is a popular spot for bathing, although it is recommended to bring flip flops due to the uncomfortable shingle. At night, the beach becomes a popular spot for fishing. The beach is backed by a promenade and a small, grassy area.

The beach has a designated 200-yard 'naturist' section, which was opened in 1980 and was the first designated 'clothes optional' beach in the UK. The designated areas where clothing is optional are clearly signposted. This section of the beach has become one of the most popular naturist beaches in Britain.

Facilities can be found in the centre of Brighton, including the pier, and a railway station with regular services to and from London. The beach is dog friendly in the winter, but restricted in some areas from 1 May to 30 September. Brighton Central, located nearby, offers a variety of restaurants and bars to enjoy.
