It is popular with younger, more active visitors but is also used by many families. It has a lively Mediterranean-style café, a beach brasserie and nearby bars. There are good toilet facilities (including those for disabled visitors) and a wide selection of watersports available, including sailing and windsurfing. Sand wheelchairs are also available for the disabled. There is also a marked safe swim zone and a lost children patrol. Lifeguards are on duty between May and September.
