Beauport Beach is a sheltered sandy beach surrounded by cliffs, renowned for its golden sand and sun-drenched conditions for most of the day. The beach's south-facing orientation allows it to receive the best of the local weather, with the sun only dropping behind the western cliffs in the late afternoon. The beach is accessed via a steep path and features a strip of soft sand backed by a pebble bank, with a nature reserve situated directly behind.
While the beach is generally safe and a popular spot for swimming, there are no lifeguards on patrol, so visitors are advised to exercise caution. Facilities at the beach are limited, so it is recommended that visitors bring their own requirements. The beach's picturesque surroundings have made it a popular location for advertising campaigns promoting the island of Jersey.
In the vicinity of Beauport Beach, visitors can find the Prince of Wales, a family-run guest house with a north-facing beach, Greve de Lecq, which offers a great spot for a day out in Jersey.
