A well-kept secret, the resort is seldom discovered by visitors and is an excellent spot for rock pooling and discovering local marine life. The beach is accessed from two sets of steps which lead down the cliffs, or by walking along the promenade from Viking Bay. It is famous for being the setting for the John Buchan book ‘The 39 Steps’, and is popular with both visitors and locals alike.
Broadstairs Stone Bay is adjacent to the Kent Coastline Walk and the Viking Coastal Trail.
