Set in a peaceful rural position a short distance from Charmouth Bay, this spacious bungalow offers a pretty private garden. There are dog walks from the doorstep and a handy shop selling essential supplies only a short walk away. Located in the heart of the beautiful Jurassic Coastline, nearby Charmouth has a pub and a popular sand and shingle beach, which is a favourite spot for bathing or, why not wait for the tide to go out, exposing many rock pools to explore. If you’re feeling energetic, a pleasant walk around the bay will take you to Lyme Regis, famed for its cobbled streets and colourful cottages. You will find this picturesque area has an abundance of pretty places to visit including the market town of Bridport and a choice of quintessential country villages, ideal for walking, cycling and all manner of outdoor pursuits.
A path from the parking area leads you to the property, where you are met by a useful utility area with a washing machine and fridge before coming into the bright and airy open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and microwave. Leading off from here, is the cosy lounge, it is the ideal place to relax with a film as it is equipped with a TV and DVD. Further along the hallway is a pretty double bedroom and further twin room, as well as a useful dressing room/cot room. Opposite here is the contemporary shower room, with a shower and WC.
Heading outside you will find a pretty enclosed garden, which wraps around the property on two sides and is mostly laid to lawn, with flower borders lining the edges. A sunny terrace has garden furniture and a BBQ. Located directly outside the lounge, it’s the perfect spot for an outdoor meal or drinks after a day spent exploring this picturesque area. Coming back around to the front of the property you will find the parking area, which will accommodate two cars.
