This fantastic 17th century farmhouse is set in a beautiful rural setting in Dorset, yet only a short drive to the coast, making it a perfect holiday retreat for all the family.
A private drive leads you to the house which is surrounded by large lawns on two sides, offering plenty of room for children to play and let off steam. This delightful farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated whilst keeping much of its original charm and character including flagstone floors and inglenook fireplaces. Situated on the border of Dorset and Devon, it is ideally situated just a few miles from the picturesque seaside town of Charmouth. You will have easy access to Jurassic Coast and can enjoy 250 miles or more of coastal and rural walks. The charming historic town of Lyme Regis is nearby, with its famous Cobb harbour, bright boats, narrow streets, selection of shops, inns, restaurants, cafes, and a glorious sandy beach which is perfect for children and adults alike. There are many other local attractions including Pecorama, Seaton Tramway, Crealy, Bicton Park, The Donkey Sanctuary, Burrows Farm Gardens, River Cottage HQ and many National Trust properties.
Heading inside this picturesque property, you will find the charming and welcoming lounge which is accessed via the flagstone hallway via two steps up and has a cosy wood burner, as well as a TV with DVD and a selection of books to browse, making a perfect area to relax with family and friends.
