There are cafes, shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance and nearby, there is a wide range of coastal, castle and countryside attractions, to keep everyone happy, Warkworth and Amble, Whitley Bay Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Druridge Bay and country park.

Outside from the kitchen, steps lead down to the south-facing, enclosed patio area with dining furniture and a BBQ for fun al-fresco dining. To the front, there is a small patio area with a bench seat where you can sit with your morning coffee overlooking the horses grazing on the meadow.
