Within a short drive of this traditional stone cottage is the university town of Aberystwyth with its Victorian promenade, pier, glorious sandy beach and a variety of museums, galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants. From here you can take a trip on the Cliff railway, the second longest funicular railway in the British Isles, for stunning views across the town and the whole sweep of cardigan bay or enjoy a scenic steam train ride through stunning scenery on the Vale of Rheidol Railway to Devils Bridge with its spectacular waterfall walk. This a great location for exploring the area with plenty of walking, cycling or water sports opportunities within easy reach. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).
This delightful stone cottage lies on the outskirts of the town and is perfect to return to after a busy day exploring with its cosy room proportions throughout. Prepare tasty romantic meals in the galley style kitchen/diner which is perfectly equipped for two with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with a small ice box, a washing machine and a sweet table for two. There is also access to a small covered area which is perfect for storing a bicycle or muddy walking boots. The sitting room is a good sized room and has a feature fireplace with an electric log effect fire, perfect for cosy evenings in and planning your next days adventures. The room is furnished with comfortable seating and a TV with a DVD player and free sat. Upstairs on the first floor, you will find the lovely bedroom with a double bed and an exposed feature stone wall which adds character and charm, adjacent to this room is the shower room with a shower cubicle and WC.
Outside there is a small gravelled garden area to the front of the cottage. There is roadside parking to the front of the property which is subject to availability.
