Polstreath Beach is a remote sandy beach, approximately 330 metres wide, backed by cliffs and accessed by a coastal path. The beach is a wide, sheltered, sand and shingle beach located a short walk along the coast path from Mevagissey.
Access to Polstreath is via the coast path and involves a long, steep climb, which makes the beach not suitable for wheelchairs or families with buggies.
Although there are no facilities directly on the beach, amenities are available in Mevagissey, only a short walk away.
The beach is generally good for swimming, although there is no lifeguard present.
