The beach at Port Grenaugh lies in a sheltered cove on the south east coast of the Isle of Man. The beach itself is a mixture of sand, shingle, and rocks. The cove is flanked on either side by cliffs backed with grassland, shrubs, and gentle rolling hills. At low tide, a number of rockpools are exposed, providing a habitat for marine life.
Access to the beach is via a narrow, single-track road, and parking is limited to a small number of cars. There are plans for development in the area, with planning permission granted for a small number of holiday cottages and a restaurant.
A short walk from the beach is Crank ny Merriu, a grassy promontory that towers above the sea. This site features a trench and small hill, which are the remains of a Celtic Iron Age defensive fort.
Port Grenaugh Beach is adjacent to the Isle of Man Coastal Path.
