Treyarnon Bay is a rural, sheltered sandy bay approximately 200 metres wide, situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty next to Constantine Bay. The beach is surrounded by low cliffs and sand dunes, and features a stream that flows across the sand towards the sea, spreading out at low tide. The bay is also home to several rock pools, perfect for exploration.
The beach boasts excellent water quality, making it popular with families and ideal for surfing. During the holiday season, from May until September, RNLI lifeguards are on patrol, providing an added layer of safety for visitors. A natural tidal pool, located on the rocks on the northern side of the beach, offers a unique swimming experience. The South West Coast path runs along the beach, allowing walkers to take in the stunning views, and nearby amenities include self-catering apartments, a youth hostel, caravan and camping parks, and a beach store (open from May to October) for refreshments and other essentials.
Visitors to Treyarnon Bay can take advantage of paid parking on the beach front, and the beach is dog-friendly all year round. For those looking for a break, Rosies cafe is a short walk away, offering milkshakes and other treats.
Treyarnon Bay is adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
