Constantine Bay is a wide, sandy beach approximately 660 metres wide, situated three miles west of Padstow. The beach is backed by large marram-covered dunes and edged by rocky outcrops, with several rock pools exposed at low tide. The bay is bounded on either side by low headlands with rocky outcrops stretching seaward, creating a gently shelving and soft pale sand beach.
The beach can be accessed via a ten-minute walk from Treyarnon if the car park is full. Alternatively, parking is available at nearby Treyarnon Bay along the coastal path. The beach is also a popular stop for walkers on the South West Coast Path.
There are limited facilities available at the beach itself, but nearby amenities include the Trevose Golf Club with three courses, including a Championship course, Headland course, and Short course for beginners. The beach is popular with surfers, and local surf schools offer lessons and equipment hire. The beach is also a family favourite and dog friendly all year.
At low tide, the rock pools at Constantine Bay link up to Boobys Bay, creating a unique and fascinating landscape. The beach's gently shelving slope and soft pale sands make it an ideal destination for those seeking a relaxing and scenic coastal experience.
Constantine Bay is adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
