Mother Ivey's Bay is a secluded and picturesque beach located on the north coast of Cornwall, along the South West Coastal Path.

Mother Ivey's Bay is situated on the north coast of Cornwall, between Newquay and Padstow. The beach is a rural sandy cove, approximately 480 metres wide, backed by steep cliffs. It is nestled in a sheltered bay and can be accessed via the coast path, which takes around twenty minutes to walk from Harlyn Bay.

Facilities are limited at Mother Ivey's Bay, with the nearest amenities located at Harlyn Bay, a twenty-minute walk away. The beach is also accessible through a large caravan site situated above the beach. As a result of its remote location and limited access, the beach is rarely crowded, even during peak season when the caravan site is full.

The beach was previously known as Polventon beach, but was renamed Mother Ivey's Bay due to a local legend about a white witch named Mother Ivey, who was said to have cursed a family.

In addition to Mother Ivey's Bay, the surrounding area is home to other beautiful beaches, including Long Cove beach, a secluded sandy cove located on the Trevose Headland. This area is popular with families and surfers, with several holiday parks and camping grounds nearby.

Mother Ivey's Bay is adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
