A traditional sandy beach in a bay between the towns of Ardrossan and Saltcoats with spectacular views of the Clyde and Arran.
Popular with locals and tourists. The water is shallow for several hundred metres from the shore. The beach is close to the town.
Ardrossan South Beach is adjacent to the Ayrshire Coastal Path.
