This recently refurbished, 100-year-old property enjoys incredible and dramatic far-reaching views across Widemouth Bay, with the beach just a short walk away. Kids will love exploring the hundreds of rockpools that appear at low tide, and it's the perfect place to try surfing or body-boarding. The village shop selling freshly baked bread, fish and locally reared meat is just a 10-minute walk from the property, and a selection of larger supermarkets can be found in Bude, just 3-miles away. Widemouth Bay itself boasts three excellent pubs, all serving a sumptuous selection of food, and two dog-friendly beach cafes serving hot and cold food all day. Bude hosts several more fantastic eateries as well as a bowling alley, indoor swimming complex and cinema.
At the front of the property, the handy porch area provides the perfect place to leave shoes and coats and the separate WC is accessed from here. Straight ahead is the main corridor with the kitchen diner featuring the most incredible views leading off to the right. In here you'll find a large dining table and seating for six guests along with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and electric flame fire. Further down the corridor is the bathroom with a bath, shower and WC, and is directly adjacent to a pretty double bedroom. The corridor opens into a spacious living area featuring a smart TV and electric flame effect fire, providing the perfect place to relax after an exciting day of adventures. The master bedroom is situated just off the lounge area and enjoys stunning sea views which can be enjoyed over a morning cup of tea in bed. A cute and cosy twin bedroom is just next door. At the rear of the property there is a large games room which wraps around the property and provides an abundance of space for everyone to relax and have fun. Choose a book from the extensive library, tinkle the ivories on the piano, challenge your family to a game of pool or table football or play one of the many board games that have been left for your enjoyment. A utility area with Butler sink, airing cupboard and washing machine can be found at one end of the room and is an ideal place for storing sandy wetsuits and drying beach towels.
The property can be found at the end of a privately owned driveway and there is ample parking space for two cars. A flagstone path leads up three steps to the drive and is bordered by lawns and shrubs on both sides. The private back garden can be accessed either via steps from the rear of the property, or by following the path round from the front garden. Here you can enjoy a peaceful morning coffee on the patio area or cook up a storm on the charcoal BBQ whilst watching the dogs chase each other around the large lawn area.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
