Ingoldmells Beach is situated on a fairly developed stretch of coastline, near the resort town of the same name. The beach is a sandy stretch backed by a promenade and is part of a long stretch of beaches that make up this part of the Lincolnshire coastline.
The beach has plenty of facilities for beachgoers, including a well-known holiday park and the Fantasy Island theme park. The nearby town boasts a number of caravan parks, shops, pubs, and places to eat, as well as a bowling alley. There is a large multi-story car park located along Sea Lane, about 50 meters from the main entrance to the beach, and public toilets are situated next to the beach entrance.
The beach is popular for swimming and walking, and there are various activities available, such as donkey rides, amusement arcades, and water sports. The nearby Fantasy Island amusement park adds to the fun, offering rides and attractions for all ages.
Notably, Ingoldmells Beach is dog-friendly, with dogs allowed on the south side of the beach all year round, making it a great spot for dog owners to enjoy a day out with their pets. However, it is unclear if this policy remains in place following the beach's Blue Flag award.
The area has been a popular seaside resort since the first Butlin's holiday camp was established in 1936. Generations of families have come to this lovely sandy beach to spend the day, and the beach and surrounding attractions continue to draw holidaymakers.
