Old Hunstanton beach is just outside Hunstanton town to the north. The southern section of the beach, in front of St Edmund's Point, is backed by the town's distinctive red and white cliffs. Further north, next to the village of Old Hunstanton, the cliffs give way to sand dunes and a colourful array of beach huts. At low tide, a large expanse of flat sand is revealed which is popular with families. At higher tides, the beach is a popular spot for kite-surfing.
Old Hunstanton Beach is adjacent to the Norfolk Coast Path.
