Traeth Crigyll, the main beach in Rhosneigr, offers easy access from the village, with several roads leading directly onto the beach. The beach provides a mix of sandy and rocky areas, with a stream, the Afon Crigyll, flowing into the sea, creating a suitable spot for building dams. The presence of low dunes and fields beyond the beach adds to its natural charm. Rhosneigr Beach is a popular spot for various water sports, including kite-surfing, windsurfing, canoeing, and surfing, provided the conditions are suitable. The beach has hosted the British National Wave Championships in the past and offers equipment rental services, including kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and wetsuits, as well as lessons for beginners.
