Porth Trecastle Beach, also known as Cable Bay, is a picturesque sandy cove located on the southern coast of Anglesey, Wales.

Porth Trecastle Beach is situated between the villages of Aberffraw and Rhosneigr, and is characterised by its sandy shoreline edged by cliffs and rock pools. The beach is set in a sheltered inlet and is largely undeveloped, making it a popular spot for those seeking a more rural and peaceful beach experience.

The beach is backed by gently sloping dunes and features a sandy shoreline that is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports such as kayaking, canoeing, and windsurfing. There are also rock pools to explore at either end of the beach, making it a great spot for families and those interested in marine life. A pay-and-display car park is conveniently located behind the beach, and the beach is a short walk from the car park, making it easy to carry beach gear down to the sand.

The ancient Neolithic burial chamber, Barclodiad y Gawres, is located on the western headland, offering a glimpse into the area's rich history. This large underground chamber dates back to the Stone Age and is a must-visit for those with archaeological interests.

The nearby village of Llanfaelog has a selection of shops and restaurants, making it a great base for day trippers and families. The beach is also dog-friendly all year round, making it a great spot for dog owners.

Porth Trecastle Beach is adjacent to the Anglesey Coast Path and the Wales Coast Path.
