Nestled in the Pentewan Valley close to Charlestown, this beautifully refurbished former mill is the perfect retreat for those looking to sample a slice of peaceful Cornish life and explore the coast.
Located on the edge of a small family farm, this cottage is within walking distance of a restaurant and shop. Once the centre of Cornwall’s pilchard fishery, the traditional village of Mevagissey is just a short drive away from the property and boasts a working harbour, cob and slate buildings and a ferry to the nearby port of Fowey. Other nearby attractions that provide fun for all the family include numerous National Trust properties and gardens, The Eden Project, Tall Ships at Charlestown and many more.
Upon arrival enter this former mill workers cottage into the hallway, the perfect place for all your holiday kit from those walking boots and wellingtons to those sun hats and sandals. A door from the hallway will lead you into the kitchen/diner the perfect place to gather for that pre-meal chit chat. The kitchen comprises of an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The lounge is situated just down the hallway, with exposed beams and a coal effect electric fire and TV, this room also boasts beautiful views overlooking the grounds towards the woods. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer is also located on the ground floor. Completing the ground floor is a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
