Polruan is a small fishing village in the parish of Lanteglos-by-Fowey in Cornwall. It is bounded on three sides by water. The village has two pubs and a passenger ferry that will take you across to Fowey. The neighbouring village of Bodinnick to the north is connected by a four mile walk along the hill tops. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do, why not visit the tall ships at Charlestown, take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock in Bodmin.
Entering this charming three storey property into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, coffee machine and washer/dryer. Located near the window, is the dining area which comfortably seats four. The lounge area has a large L shaped sofa, a wood burner effect electric fire, TV/DVD, CD player and i-Pod dock. Heading up to the first floor there is a double bedroom which overlooks Fore Street down to the estuary. Also on this floor you will find the bathroom, with shower over bath and WC. Then take the stairs to the second floor, the final bedroom is in the attic of the house, a twin bedroom. Please note this is accessed via steep attic stairs.
Due to the location there is no outside space for this property, however the cottage is so close to the quay and beach. Parking is available in the public car park nearby, weekly passes can be purchased.
