Delightful character cottage nestling at the front of the idyllic fishing village of Polruan overlooking the estuary which provides the perfect romantic retreat.
Perfectly situated overlooking the River Fowey just a stone’s throw from the quayside, beach, pubs and village amenities. For a lovely day out hop on the passenger ferry to Fowey and enjoy the independent shops and restaurants on offer or step out onto the beautiful Hall Walk to Bodinnick passing Riverside, Daphne Du Maurier’s home or follow the South West Coast Path to Lantic Bay or Lansallos Beach. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do, why not visit the tall ships at Charlestown, take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also, for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock in Bodmin.
Step inside from the delightful chimney pot terraced street and hang up your outer-wear. Head into the beautifully furnished lounge with Danish-style armchairs and a comfortable sofa. There are many small winding streets in and around the village, that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display car park at the top of the village.
