Description

Charming maisonette set in an elevated position above Tenby’s iconic harbour, close to the bustling cobbled streets leading to the popular Tudor Square with its array of restaurants and cafes.

Studded on the stunning southern coastline of Pembrokeshire, Tenby is a historic gem for couples and families seeking a staycation by the sea. This impressive building, home to four holiday apartments, is located amongst the beautiful Victorian and Georgian architecture just 0.5 miles from the centre of town, close to the golden sandy beaches and enchanting harbour. Based in a two-storey maisonette, you’ll soon be discovering the town’s fascinating history dating date back to the time of the Norman Conquest. Much of the medieval castle walls, built by the Pembrokeshire Earls in 1264 to fortify the town from the Welsh rebellion, have survived intact to the present day. The ruins of Tenby Castle are a delight to investigate, especially when followed by a picnic lunch and a cliff-top walk.

Accessed via several flights of stairs, this holiday accommodation is tucked away on the third and fourth floors of a traditional seaside building. Step inside and relax in the lounge/diner, appreciating the fresh decor, wooden floors and cosy sofas. There’s a selection of books available to borrow, a TV for leisurely film viewing, and a large window that’s perfect for watching the world go by whilst sipping your morning coffee. At suppertime, gather at the table to enjoy family feasts, followed by board games that last well into the night. Natural light streams into the contemporary kitchen, providing views across the sea as you cook up a storm using the gas hob, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Soak your weary feet in the elegant bathroom, which features a shower-over-the-bath and WC. Completing the property are three bedrooms, the first of which is a cosy double bedroom with bedroom furniture. Upstairs, the two final bedrooms are tucked in the eaves of the house with sloped ceilings, bedroom furniture and a selection of sleeping arrangements – one twin room and a double bedroom with door to cloakroom, WC and sink.

There isn’t a dedicated outside space for the property however, the beaches are in close proximity. Pack up some snacks and a thermos of hot chocolate and venture outside to admire the scenery from the public grass verge towards the front of the property, or wander down to the sandy beach to watch the sunset. Off street parking at the front of the property for one car (subject to availability).
