Just a short drive away, Saunton Sands boasts an expansive sandy beach, and further afield, sand, sea, and surf can be enjoyed at Woolacombe, Croyde, and Putsborough. Other places of interest nearby include Barnstaple, with its market and high street shops, Exmoor National Park, and the seaside resort of Ilfracombe.
