Mill Bay is a sheltered sandy beach situated in a cove on the west bank of the Kingsbridge Estuary, approximately 400 metres wide. The beach is privately owned and set in a beautiful, rural area with gentle slopes down to the shore. A stream flows along the south side of the beach, emptying into the sea.
The beach is located across the estuary from the charming town of Salcombe. Visitors can access Mill Bay via a small car park near the beach or by taking the East Portlemouth ferry from Salcombe.
The beach boasts golden sand, clean and safe swimming areas, and rock pools, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing day out or a dip in the sea. The picturesque views of Salcombe across the estuary add to the beach's natural beauty.
Mill Bay is on the South Devon Heritage Coast, and adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
