Abrahams Hole Beach, also known as Gara Rock beach, is a secluded and unspoilt rural beach offering great coastal walks and a rich history.

Abrahams Hole Beach is a quiet and picturesque beach located on a section of National Trust owned coast, across the waters from Salcombe. The beach is part of a natural trust heritage coast and offers stunning coastal walks.

The area features two beaches separated by a small headland: the larger Seacombe Sands (Gara Rock) and the smaller Rickham Sand (also known as Abraham's Hole). At low tide, both beaches form a continuous stretch of fine golden sand. However, as the tide comes in, most of Rickham Sand becomes submerged.

Access to the beach is easiest by walking round from East Portlemouth along the coast path, although it is possible to drive to Gara Rock. The Gara Rock Retreat is a short walk away, offering refreshments.

The area is also notable for its ancient field systems, which date back to the Bronze Age and are still clearly visible on Deckler's Cliff behind the beach.

Abrahams Hole Beach is on the South Devon Heritage Coast, and adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
