Abererch Beach is essentially an extension of Pwllheli beach, which stretches from the village to the headland of Penychain. This long, south-facing sandy beach is generally quieter than Pwllheli and boasts finer sand. The beach is approximately 4 miles long and attracts a variety of visitors, including families, holidaymakers, and watersports enthusiasts.
The main entrance to the beach is located in front of the Abererch Sands holiday park, which provides various facilities, including a shop. Visitors can easily access the beach by train, as Abererch has its own railway station nearby. There is also ample parking available close to the beach.
Abererch Beach is a popular destination for families, windsurfers, kitesurfers, and anglers. The beach's exposed location makes it an ideal spot for watersports, while its quieter atmosphere and finer sand make it an attractive option for families and those seeking a more relaxed beach experience.
Abererch Beach is adjacent to the Llyn Peninsula Coastal Path and the Wales Coast Path.
