This beautiful cottage is located within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just a short drive from the resort town of Salcombe. With its estuary location, Salcombe is a water sports haven, whether it be sailing, kayaking, surfing or paddle boarding, everyone wants to get in the water. If you love the hustle and bustle of a traditional market town, you’ll love the South Devon estuary town of Kingsbridge, it has a selection of shops, Cafes, pubs and restaurants. Visit the sandy beach at Bigbury-on-Sea, where guests can jump aboard the sea tractor across to neighbouring Burgh Island, where they can sit in front of a roaring fire and watch the tides ‘meet’ and ‘part’ while nursing a beverage.
This retreat is truly the perfect bolt hole for exploring all that South Devon has to offer. On entering this beautiful thatched cottage, you will find yourself in the delightful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which boast original features, exposed beams and original fireplace. The lounge allows you to sit back and relax amongst the rich, soft furnishings and watch your favourite programme on the TV or relax with a good book whilst the wood burner crackles in the back ground. The kitchen is small but packs a punch with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and washing machine. After a long day head up to the first floor where you will find three bedrooms, two single rooms and the master bedroom which offers a king-size bed. Completing this floor is the shower room with shower and WC.
Venture outside to your very owner enclosed garden area, situated just up from the property the garden area offers a lawn area with patio and garden furniture. This property offers off-road parking for two cars.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
