Beach huts line the promenade and are available for hire. Other facilities include The Beach Hut Café open all year round, toilets with disabled access and showers. This is a designated bathing beach. Car parking is available at Southcliffe Road and Seaway Avenue; both car parks have disabled access routes down to the promenade.
Christchurch Friar's Cliff Beach is adjacent to the Bournemouth Coast Path.
