Norton Beach, situated on the Isle of Wight, is a small sand and shingle beach that offers a safe and suitable spot for swimming in an area of coastline where other beaches may not be as ideal. .

Norton Beach is located between Fort Victoria and Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. Access to the beach is limited by car, but visitors can also arrive by harbour ferry from Yarmouth.

The beach is composed of a mix of sand and shingle and is one of the only areas on this stretch of coastline considered suitable for swimming. At high tide, the beach can get quite narrow.

Nearby Yarmouth Beach, located just a short walk from the ferry port, offers a lovely atmosphere and is perfect for a quick visit. Yarmouth Beach is next to the historic Yarmouth Pier, which is notable for being the last remaining wooden pier in the UK. The pier is a good spot for fishing, where visitors can catch various species like bass, mackerel, and cod.

Yarmouth itself is a historic town with a rich maritime heritage, featuring quaint cobbled streets, local pubs, and restaurants. Visitors can explore Yarmouth Castle, a beautifully restored 16th-century artillery fortress with an exhibition on local shipwrecks and a picnic area.

A short walk west from Yarmouth Beach, visitors can find Yarmouth Green and seafront garden, with benches to rest on and lovely views of the Solent.

Norton Beach is adjacent to the Isle of Wight Coast Path.
