Poole is home to several beautiful beaches, each offering unique experiences and attractions for visitors.

The town of Poole in Dorset has a number of beaches to explore, ranging from harbour-side parks to secluded, sandy coves.

Located at Hamworthy Park off Lulworth Avenue, just half a mile from Poole Quay, this attractive harbourside park covers 26 acres and offers panoramic views of Poole Harbour and the Purbeck Hills. The park provides good facilities for families with children and is close to Harbour Lake, a sheltered, sandy beach. This beach is popular for fishing, swimming, and sailing, and is surrounded by a nature reserve where seals are often spotted swimming in the harbour.

Shell Bay is the most northerly of Studland's beaches, situated on the Isle of Purbeck, and offers stunning views over Sandbanks and Poole Harbour. Visitors can enjoy the lovely sandy beach, play a game of beach volleyball, and dine at the Shell Bay Seafood Restaurant & Bistro. The beach is also a great spot for sailing and boating, with the Shell Bay Sailing centre offering RYA recognised training lessons and boat hire. The Studland Peninsula, which is owned by the National Trust, provides parking and toilet facilities close to all four of Studland's beaches. From Shell Bay, visitors can take a 5-minute ferry journey to Sandbanks.

Harbour Lake Beach is a secluded beach surrounded by a nature reserve, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The beach has a historical pier where barges carrying clay for local pottery used to unload. The beach itself is sheltered, and the shallow waters make it a safe spot for bathing.
