The beach at Ramsey is a sweeping stretch of sand interrupted by the pier and the breakwaters, marking the mouth of the river.
The town is the second largest on the island and has a busy shopping street and working harbour.
Ramsey Beach is adjacent to the Isle of Man Coastal Path.
