Studland Bay boasts four miles of white sand backed by sand dunes, with Knoll Beach forming the southern end of this stretch. The beach is part of the Studland National Nature Reserve and is approximately one kilometre wide.
The beach offers soft white sand and clear clean water, making it ideal for swimming. A café overlooking the seafront serves light lunches and refreshments. For those seeking adventure, a water sports centre provides stand-up paddle boards and kayaks for hire, as well as sailing or power boat trips.
At the northern end of Studland Bay, towards Shell Bay, lies a designated naturist beach, marked by signs. The Studland Peninsula, owned by the National Trust, offers parking (with free parking for National Trust members) and toilets close to all four of Studland's beaches.
Studland's Knoll Beach is a popular choice for families, offering a range of activities and family-friendly events during holidays, making it a fun destination for all.
Studland Knoll House Beach is on the Purbeck Heritage Coast, and adjacent to the Bournemouth Coast Path and the South West Coast Path.
