Godrevy Beach is a large sandy bay that connects to Gwithian Beach at low tide, and is owned by the National Trust. The beach is situated at the northern end of Hayle's "Three miles of golden sand". The exact boundary between Godrevy and Gwithian beaches is unclear, but it is generally considered to be around Gillick Rock or where the Red River runs into the sea.
The beach offers a range of amenities, including a cafe that opens during the holiday seasons and warmer days throughout the year. There is also an adapted toilet available to RADAR key holders. Visitors can enjoy ample parking in a National Trust car park behind the beach.
Godrevy Beach is a popular spot for surfers, with the Gwithian Academy of Surfing located on the beach and lifeguards on duty during the summer season. The beach is also a great place for nature lovers, with an abundance of wildlife and stunning views walking the South West Coast Path. Dogs are allowed on the beach between 1 October and 30 April, but are restricted in parts during the summer months.
Located just off the coast, Godrevy Lighthouse is a notable landmark and a popular attraction for visitors.
Godrevy Beach is adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
