Llansantffraid Beach is a lesser-known pebble and shingle beach located on the Ceredigion coast in Wales, offering a tranquil escape for visitors.
Llansantffraid Beach is a predominantly shingle and pebble beach, backed by low mud and clay cliffs, situated about 5 miles north east of Aberaeron. The beach looks out into Cardigan Bay and is located just north of Llanon beach. Due to the limited amount of sand and its remote location, the beach tends to be quiet and unbusy.
The beach can be accessed via a number of paths leading down from the village of Llanon, where a short-term car park is available. The village offers a range of basic amenities, including a pub, a chip shop, and a shop.
While facilities are limited at the beach itself, visitors can enjoy swimming and other water activities in the gentle waves, although caution is advised due to the lack of lifeguards. The Ceredigion Coast Path runs nearby, providing scenic walking routes along the coastline with breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding landscape.
Llansantffraid Beach is adjacent to the Ceredigion Coast Path and the Wales Coast Path.
