Clovelly is a car-free historic village which is a major draw for tourists. The beach and harbour are at the bottom of the steep cobbled streets, along which there is no access for visitors' cars. There is a Land Rover shuttle from the car park to the Red Lion pub, next to the harbour, for those who don't fancy the walk. As well as the picturesque village, the bay is also home to a diverse range of marine wildlife. The area is particularly popular with divers and snorkellers.
Clovelly Beach is on the Hartland (Devon) Heritage Coast.
