Mortehoe Rockham Bay, also known as Mortehoe Beach, is a secluded bay located near Ilfracombe, Devon, that offers a unique and picturesque beach experience.

Mortehoe Rockham Bay is situated between Mortehoe Point and Bull Point Lighthouse, and can only be accessed on foot. The beach is surrounded by rocky cliffs, and visitors must descend a significant number of steep steps, which were repaired in 2016 after storm damage, to reach the bay. As a result, the beach is not suitable for individuals with mobility problems. However, cars can be parked in the charming village of Mortehoe, and a scenic 2 km coastal walk with spectacular views leads down to the beach.

At low tide, the bay reveals a sandy beach with rocky areas, excellent rock pools teeming with marine life, and an abundance of wildflowers on the surrounding cliffs. Visitors can walk from the beach to the headland at Morte Point, which has a rich history of shipwrecks due to its treacherous currents and rocks. In fact, the point was previously known as 'Death Point' due to the numerous shipwrecks that occurred in the area.

The heritage centre in Mortehoe village offers displays about local shipwrecks and marine wildlife, and visitors can also explore the graves of shipwrecked sailors in St Mary's church. Additionally, the nearby Combesgate Beach, located at the end of Woolacombe Beach, is a secluded and dog-friendly beach with rock pools and stunning natural beauty, perfect for swimming and playing in the sand.

Mortehoe Rockham Bay is on the North Devon Heritage Coast, and adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
