Churston Cove is a secluded sandy cove located on the English Riviera, near the town of Brixham, offering stunning scenery and a peaceful atmosphere.

Churston Cove is a scenic, shingle and rock beach situated just north of Brixham. The beach is surrounded by cliffs and wooded hillsides, providing fantastic scenery. Access to the beach is via a long, steep, and narrow path that passes through woodland, which can make disabled access challenging.

The beach itself is composed of shingle and rocks, making it a lovely spot for children to paddle in the clean, shallow water. Swimming is relatively safe, but there is no lifeguard service, so children must be closely supervised. Unfortunately, there are no facilities at the beach. However, the nearby town of Brixham offers a range of facilities, including shops, pubs, and restaurants, many of which specialise in seafood.

The nearest parking is located along Fishcombe Road, about half a mile away on the outskirts of Brixham. Visitors can also explore the town of Paignton, which is just a few miles away along the South West Coast Path. Churston Cove is a popular spot for small yachts to stop and for occupants to enjoy a picnic and a dip in the crystal-clear waters.

Churston Cove is dog-friendly, allowing dogs all year round. The cove is located next to Fishcombe Beach and can be reached on foot from the South West Coast Path, making it an ideal location for escaping the crowds and enjoying a relaxing day by the sea.

Churston Cove is adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
