Looe Hannafore Beach is characterised by a long, mainly rocky shoreline that stretches around Hannafore Point, situated to the west of Looe. The beach features some pebble and sandy patches, with grassy banks above.
The beach is located just west of Looe, with the town's amenities, including shops, cafes, and a museum, easily accessible just over the East Looe River.
As a tidal beach, Hannafore is almost completely covered at high tide. As the tide recedes, numerous rockpools are exposed, making it an attractive spot for exploration. The beach offers views of Looe Island, also known as St Georges Island.
The beach is a popular destination for families during the summer months, with several hotels and holiday accommodations nearby.
Looe Hannafore Beach is adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
