Porthbeor Beach is situated on the tip of the Roseland Peninsula, boasting a large southeast-facing shoreline comprising sand and rocks. The beach is nestled near St. Anthony Head and Bohortha, offering extraordinary views from St. Anthony.
The beach can be reached via a half-hour hike along the coast path from St. Anthony; however, access to the beach itself is considered fairly challenging. As of September 2020, the main path to the beach was closed due to a rock fall, and currently, the beach is only accessible by boat.
The South West Coast Path runs along the top of Porthbeor Beach, allowing walkers to enjoy the scenic views while traversing the coastline.
Porthbeor Beach is on The Roseland Heritage Coast, and adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
